The DV+ helped solved the flute like noise when I flashed a tune (also had the rev C DV). Can't really speak to it holding boost better than a Rev D DV, I'd only do so if I had measured data to back such a claim. But reading around you'll see that rev C with DV+ works, and a rev d also works.
Foglights worked fine , I needed the resistors to be error free. Removed because the resistors did not last long. But not everyone needs the resistors. I liked the ability to toggle between white and yellow light. The strobe/flash wasn't really for me.
