Adjusting/modifying the internal bump stops on B8 struts… (please lend help & wisdom)

I bought a set of these APR “lowering bumpstops” just to try them out.

Rears fit on the Bilstein shock/OEM upper mount just like the stock ones.

Fronts have the same outer diameter as the Bilstein B8 strut, so I don’t think there’s any way they will fit inside the strut unless I really jam them in there. I’m thinking I’ll stick with the Bilstein-standard bump stop unless someone has a better idea.

The front Bilsteins are unversed so we’re SOL for bumpstops. So we’re stuck with the internal stops and they’re not fun to modify… 👀

Yeah I bought the APRs on the off-chance that I could take the B8 bumpstops out and replace them. Mostly wanted something shorter and stiffer but we will see how it goes with the standard B8 bump stops
