Adjusting/modifying the internal bump stops on B8 struts… (please lend help & wisdom)

I bought a set of these APR “lowering bumpstops” just to try them out.

Rears fit on the Bilstein shock/OEM upper mount just like the stock ones.

Fronts have the same outer diameter as the Bilstein B8 strut, so I don’t think there’s any way they will fit inside the strut unless I really jam them in there. I’m thinking I’ll stick with the Bilstein-standard bump stop unless someone has a better idea.

The front Bilsteins are unversed so we’re SOL for bumpstops. So we’re stuck with the internal stops and they’re not fun to modify…

Yeah I bought the APRs on the off-chance that I could take the B8 bumpstops out and replace them. Mostly wanted something shorter and stiffer but we will see how it goes with the standard B8 bump stops

call Bilstein and order some or just trim them, they are 14mm i.d by 36mm o.d. .....the PSS10 are tricker to pull apart and need heat sometimes to unthread
