Hi guys so my car’s(2016 R 195,000km/ 130k miles has been flashed back to stock ) been stalling intermittently over the last year upon restarting the engine when its warm. I sent car in for diagnostics at the dealer they said that the fuel rail pressure was low, with the cause being the in-tank fuel pump. The part is quite expensive though, i saw these aftermarket “performance” in-tank fuel pumps from walbro for tuned cars. Would there be any issues or fitment complications in replacing the oem one with this: https://broxtuning.ca/products/walb...mk7-mk7-5-mk8-8v-b9-a3-a4-a5-s3-tt-gti-golf-r

Anyone used them before or had similar issues?

It won't fit without standoffs and cutting of the basket. You're overcomplicating it. Get a used OEM pump (full thing including basket) and put it in. It will have a green top for AWD (vs blue for FWD). 30min job tops.
Thanks for the advice. Any idea where i can find one i was thinking of calling autowreckers do you know how i would find the right part number?
