I was quoted $100/hr for 12 hours. for a stage 3 system, full install. But thats including FMIC, DP, Carbonio.

Its a pretty inclusive install. Just time consuming.
 
How the hell do you put that much power to the ground?

I take it this requires upgraded engine internals as well, right? Rods, bolts, muffler bearings, etc?

Think my install might almost be wrapped up. Got a call they were flashing it. Dyno scheduled for next Tuesday.

FINALLY!! APR Stage 3+ Released. Getting flashed / Dyno Scheduled

Just got a call from my shop saying it is being flashed. Would assume that means I am actually picking it up tonight. Dyno is scheduled for next Tuesday morning.

Finally, after all these months. Pumped++

Info for those wondering :)

Seem like the best choice is to go straight 3+ if you haven't gone 3 yet.

introduce the 2.0 TSI Stage III+ Turbocharger System producing 451 horsepower on standard 93 octane pump fuel
and 501 horsepower on 100 octane race fuel! Thanks to APR’s advanced real time engine management calibration
capabilities, the Stage III+ turbocharger spool is lightning fast with a nearly flat torque curve from 3500
RPM all the way to redline. In all driving conditions, Stage III+ has power instantly on tap to pull you back
in your seat and put a huge grin on your face.

Power levels beyond that of the APR Stage III Turbocharger system were made possible with the addition of
three main components:

  • Garrett/Honeywell GT3071R Turbocharger capable of airflow levels approximately 25% higher than the Stage
    III GT2860RS unit.
  • APR High Pressure Direct Injection Injectors approximately 30% larger than standard OEM TSI injectors.
  • APR’s world-class Stage III+ engine management recalibration, available in multiple octane levels seen
    around the world.

APR's Stage III+ Turbocharger System is available as a turn key solution for new customers or as an upgrade
for those who have previously purchased an APR Stage III Turbocharger System. This upgrade package includes
upgraded APR Stage III+ Software, APR Stage III+ Turbocharger, APR Stage III+ Injectors and all the necessary
replacement parts needed to upgrade your Stage III to Stage III+! A valid Stage III Authorization code must
be presented to purchase a Stage III+ Upgrade System.

Horsepower, Torque and Power Delivery

Impressive levels of power are available from as early as 3500 RPM's, giving you the performance you need in
all driving conditions!

soooo could you run the 100oct tune with a water meth setup (&93oct pump gas)... or is that just asking for trouble?

(W/M should make a legit 110 octane though, right?)
