Haven't checked in for a few days. Not sure what I missed. Still interviewing like crazy. Had another in-person yesterday, another phone screen follow up tonight at 5, then two more in-person interviews tomorrow at 5:30 and 6:30.

Here's some video I put together from Blackhawk this past weekend.

First one is from my car. I hoped my front tires would make it through the weekend but... just about corded them after 2 sessions. Couldn't stop locking up in the harder braking areas and got sick of filling my shorts with "oh shit" moments. Parked it Saturday night.



Then Sunday, my buddy let me drive his 07 Cayman S. Car was box-stock aside from safety equipment (seats, harnesses, rollbar, airbag delete) and a AiM data setup. Did one 25 minute session and beat my 4-wheeled PB by 7 tenths, and beat my best from Saturday by 1.1s. He had the rear tires inflated to over 40psi... which explained why it felt loose in the carousel and T5. I'm positive there is a 1:20.x as it sits, just a little less tire pressure. Maybe after an event or two I could crack 19s....




I'll have a better Cayman video later. He just sent me the AiM data dump, gonna try to overlay it against the helmet cam video I have.

I see I didn't miss much yesterday. My dad stores his boat in Michigan. Monday he was saying he had no time to bring it across cause he was going out of town. Told him we should go on Tuesday since the weather was nice. So we did. Water was like glass. 3.5 hours there. 3.5 hours by car home.
