Console "blanks"

I am thinking of putting in a couple usb ports where the " blanks " are in front of the shifter. How difficult is this to do? Do they just punch out or must they be cut out to install th usb port? Also, is wiring them easy or must the whole console be removed? Thanks

They just pop out...easy to install..you should check out doubleapex..they sell different types of connectors

Thnx. I did ck them out. Correct me if i am wrong but as the head unit has a usb plug in i should not have to splice or connect anything....just run the braided wire from the rear usb plug in of the head unit to the blanks
