Just got this today and found it interesting. Looks like VW wants part of the aftermarket business and to remind everyone about voiding their warranty using non-VW. I'd love to see what they have to offer but all they say is "Talk with your local Volkswagen dealer about how to find and install these parts". Anybody know specifics about what VW has to offer?

I wish they would just come out with a tune from VW. Volvo has a polestar tune for the C30, which is an option that you can get (at least from what I understand from building one online). Something that is reliable, maybe a bit more costly than your avg tune but doesnt void warranty. Think of the money that could be made if VW teamed up with APR.

They say you should use only "VW authorized" parts, but don't mention any specific brands? Wonder what brands are authorized and imagine it likely depends on the dealer more than anything?

I got this email as well. Im really scratching my head on this one. VW doesn't make any performance parts for mk6 gti. So are they just trying to make me void my warranty? If vw teamed up with apr i would definitely feel a lot more comfortable modding.
