No, it looks like you are not reading the thread fully where it says they need to make a click to install:
Once they click, there is no issues, if it is not clicking in the first try, you can turn them 180 degrees to see if the clip better catches on the other side of the bumper.
So once I originally installed it, it didn't give the click that the oem housing did. After the housing fell out, I pushed it into the housing and pounded it with my hand. I heard a click and that seems to have done it

We looked over customer replies and it looks like they said once it clicked, they worked, all the ones we installed fit fine also.
If you seriously have that issue, we can get you a new set, or you can return your current set for a new pair, it is always possible you got a defected pair. But you are not confirming that these clicked in or not.
Please email deAutoKey@gmail.com with more info and they will help you out.
For anyone interested in a pair, here is a CUSTOMER DIY of how easily these install:
Please note in the video they did snap in the first try, if they are not clicking into your bumper, try turning them 180 degrees and trying the other bumper to see if it better grabs the clip on the LED license plate housing.

I don't need a whole new set, just the one on the passenger side keeps falling out. If you can send a replacement and it fits properly, I will chime back here with the results.

Ok, that sounds good.
Please contact deAutoKey@gmail.com and they will set you up, mention you are from the forums and give them your email you used to place the order.
We have sold many of these, and this is the first time we are hearing about any type of fitment issues. We are thinking it happened during install without realizing or a defect in our housing, especially since you are saying 1 side fits fine, and 1 side will not fit, correct?

The drivers side fits loosely, the passenger side does not fit at all (the clip doesn't catch no matter how hard you press). I have tried reversing with no success.
If you want to send a new set or just the one replacement - that's up to you. Like I said, I will chime in here with the results once I get them.

I ordered the same exact set and experienced the same exact problem as you. I had a little problems with the driver side but the passenger side took me a few hours of bending and fitting before i finally found a way to get the clip to take. It didn't seem right at all. Almost destroyed the clip...
ON TOP OF THIS: it is very difficult to get the housing itself to snap into place. Even when I "found the right position" where i could smack on the housing and it didn't fall out it never did "snap into place" as easy as the video shows it to... And it's not like there are very many ways to place a rectangular object into a rectangular cut out LOL.
All-in-all I like DeAutokey and I would buy from them again. The product looks wonderful despite my issues.. Just hope this gets rectified for future buyers.

Hi, we are sorry to hear the issue you are having, we see there might be a small issue with this, but it is NOT like this for all installs, we installed these on over 200 cars, a few times we needed to use a screw driver to get the clip to bend so it caught on the bumper, but most of the time it clicked right in.
There has been no issues or warranty claims on the ones we installed.

Thanks for the feedback, once they click into the bumper they are secure and will never fall out. We know we said it a few times, but we installed these on hundreds of GTI and other cars and they never fell out once they click into place.
$94.99 free shipping is not expensive... You get a full LED housing license plate with it, and you get the full interior kit also.
Other companies sell JUST the interior LED Kit for $94.99!
So I finally installed the 3 sets of LEDs (front hazards/turns, rear hazards/turns, rear reverse) that I purchased from deAutoKey between snow storms in Minnesota. The company was great to work with and the LEDs came well packaged and the products are clearly of high quality. Thank you! For others, I've compiled a few videos of the lights.
The first install were of the front hazards/turns. Install is about 5 minutes. The only "trick" is that the left/right lights are not mirror images of each other but exactly the same. Quarter turn counter-clockwise to open the headlight chamber, and then another counter-clockwise turn to pull out the incandescent bulb from the headlight housing. Here's the first video showing the OEM incandescent bulbs vs the LEDs.
One difference to note is that while the incadescent bulb diffuses light, the LEDs provide spots. The LED spot effect can be seen in the next video. Some may have a preference for one style vs. another.
Install wise, both were again straightforward. The rear hazards/turns were real easy. The reverse LEDs had two issues. One, the LEDs I purchased were the brighter CREE plasma LEDs. I don't know if they are longer or not than the standard ones, but they BARLEY fit into the taillight housing. You can insert/remove the reverse housing bulbs from the taillight housing easily by hand with a quarter turn, but to fasten in the new LEDs, you need a pair of pliers and a little faith you won't break the light as you shove the bulb into the locked position. The second issue, which is much easier to address, is that the metal pin at the base of the light needs to be pulled out a bit, in order to make the connection with the connector for the LED to work. BTW, the resistors that come with the bulbs so you don't get an error light, work like champs.
FWIW, I really like the rear directional LEDs, they are my favorites. It seems subtle on the video, but now every time I come to my car and unlock it, I notice the difference. I don't see the fronts as much so its not as big an issue. In terms of the reverse lights, I'm again more ambivalent... balancing the issue with the bulbs just fitting the housing with having LEDs all around will be a personal preference.
(edit) One last subtlety... removing the directional amber bulbs and replacing them with the LEDs does make the light housing assembly slightly more attractive when looking at it parked.
