Thanks for the great prices! Best I found anywhere, ordered the PCV assembly and the rear breather hose. I'm hopping this will fix my ever lasting issue no one has been able to diagnose due to the lack of thrown codes...

Also bought 4 of the R8 coil packs... holy crap $17.99, couldn't say no.

Great DIY. Torque specs on those bolts would be good to know, though.

Looking for torque specs as well. Anybody?:word:

I remember on my MKV, where the PCV was prone to failure, you could essentially bolster the old PCV with a digitalhippie fix, route the out hose to the ground and dump the blowby, or plug both holes on the PCV with the 2" expandable plug fittings at autozone and let the blow by route through the exhaust. Thus eliminating the need for a PCV replacement, and any issues stemming from a bad one. Just food for thought for those looking to save a buck. Likely that you can do the same on this car.

I'm not really sure why anyone would recommend using something small to pry the hose and all the coil connectors off instead of just doing it the right way and hitting the release tabs with your fingers. We get alot of people coming in to replace that hose and the the connectors because they broke them trying to do exactly what is being recommended in this DIY
