They are touchscreen but I rarely even use the touchscreen because the knob is actually very easy to navigate with.
It depends on your bluetooth device- 9W2 means no phone book on the screen, 9W3 and 9W7 will give you the phonebook on the screen.
This unit was used in 2010 Golf 2.5 MkVI as a replacement to stock non-touch screen MKVI radio without Sirius. It worked perfectly. Everything needed to replace stock radio is included.

I am interested, but i have a few questions.
#1 i have a 2012 with new version BT, which means that it should have phonebook display on MFI correct?
#2 how would the control work (without the MF steering wheel on a golf) I could control the MFI on the 'wiper stick' buttons (ie audio, BT, MFI, setting etc.)
#3 how old is the map (what year or version? does it come with the map SD card)
