GTI springs on TDI

I can get my hands on some GTI springs for free, my question is will the drop be significant enough on my TDI? Mind you I have a Canadian model and the suspension is slighty higher then the US model, for some reason the Canadian models are equipped with the 2.5 suspension from what I read.

Anyhow, worth it?

I'm on GTI springs + Koni FSDs. No lowering from stock height, ride is firmer than stock TDI setup but there is still a bit of roll, rebound, and brake dive.

Thinking about other options after track day but I want zero to less than an inch of lowering.

Not sure about the exact specs of the 2.5 suspension in canada, but like others mentioned. It's not worth your time.

VWR springs ftw

While I agree with you on the quality of the ride on those springs as well as the look (stance), the OP wanted less than an inch of drop, so these are out. My drop on my TDI was about 1.25 and 1.5 inches. I did have some rubbing with my winter tire setup, nothing a little fender rolling couldn't take care of. :happyanim:
