Help. Cam follower replace.

Tuuza

Ready to race!
Hi, I'm starting to change my cam follower and couldn't find any diy instructions.
Every instruction I find is with a HPFP like this.

And my pump looks like this, 2010 GTI Euro.

Im looking for a way to bleed the pressure from the pump, as all the diys show that the release valve is in the front cap wich I dont have.
Thanks for ur time and help.

Edit. https://youtu.be/w6W19K40mpk
I found this video and it has atleast quite similiar pump. It doesn't have a threaded cap in front. And that pump seems to have the roller follower, wich doesn't have the same wear problems? And looks like mine has also the roller one.

Looks like you have a roller follower - no need to change it if you do.
TSI = roller follower no need to change FSI = cam follower that needs changing

The MK6 GTI's TSI engine has a cam follower on a roller system unlike the gen 1 EA888 engine on the MKV GTIs/Audis etc. The cam follower does not need to be replaced on this gen or newer gens of GTIs... UNLESS you own a Golf R which they stuck the gen 1 EA888 back into for whatever stupid ass reason.
