intake question

i have a 2.5 mk6 with manual trans, pardon my noobness but i was wondering if i could use an intake for a gti on my car, if not are there any aftermarket intakes available now for mk6 golfs?

I'm not entirely sure but I think you can use the intakes for the MK5 Rabbit cause AFAIK the MK6 uses the same 2.5L engine

So far I have been looking for an intake as well. Only found one injen one but was on not on their offical cite so not really trusting it... Let me know if you find one for our 2.5's =)

APR makes an intake for the golf

you can't uses one for a gti...you cant use one for a mk5 either...the mk6 2.5 has a different vacuum set up

Did the research and the APR one is by far the best thing out there that I could find. Installed and lovin it

Neuspeed p-flo is another good one. I know many are happy with the APR, but I've heard great things about the p-flo as well.

APR Carbonio is a true cold air intake and relocates the filter way down away from engine heat. The Neuspeed looks like it will just draw hot air from the engine bay.
