Figured I'd share this, it's likely someone has already done it. When upgrading from a factory location Intercooler to a FMIC usually you are left with 2 options.
A. Some guys leave the factory intercooler in place which isn't ideal, and further restricts airflow to the radiator.
B. The other option is to buy some brackets for 100-150$ to put in place of the factory intercooler so everything can mount back up..
Well I give you option C.. What I did was I took the factory IC out. An pried the plastic end tanks off, an then used the end tanks with all the factory mounting points as the bracket and put it all back together. For free! And it still eliminated the intercool section to allow better air flow / efficiency..
Save some money.. You don't even see it...
