According to elsawin... Yes that's one of 3 transmission moving devices. I just liked that it referenced the transfer case on a JSW/Golf Variant.

Any luck on your end??? Is this one of those things that'll be a bitch the first time you do it... but after that will be pretty straight forward once you've figured it out???

That's exactly what it's going to be. I plan on beginning part installs in September. Fuel tank first. Than Haldex rear subframe. Than transfer case. Followed by Haldex and Drive line.

I ordered a transfer case bolt so I can get a tap for the transmission. The bold should be here on Monday. Additionally there is a mounting plate for the for the transfers case that's opposite of the tranny that I am missing. I will be ordering that shortly as well.
