K04 Spark Plugs 20K

It's something inexpensive and can save you hassles down the road. Especially if youre tuned (in my opinion). I didn't change the fiances spark plugs in her scion till 70k. Probably just a little darker than my old ones but definitely a lot more erosion.

I'll admit, changing the coil packs may have been overkill at 20k but for $65 can't complain.

Goes to show that it may pay to mind the gap somewhere around halfway there.

Kind of OT but I've never had a car where I did more than change the oil. How labor intensive is it to change the plugs on these engines?

What tools are needed?

Very simple.

those old plugs are a perfect tan. probably didnt even need to be changed.

+1 Old plugs are still fine, I'd pop em back and check in 10k miles again.
