Ready to race!
What dealer is this?!? Schumacher in Palm Beach?!? I would slap a dealer!
I noticed the exact same paint 'defect' on my GTI this weekend. I have emailed the dealership and will see what happens. Now that i've noticed it it always draws my attention.

Edit: Just heard back from the dealer and was told that its just the way the bumpers are and that the front will be the same. (have also noticed that the OP's issue is a little different)
black paint isnt that hard to work with. its a pain in the ass sometimes but this shouldnt have happened to you. it looks like the dealer did it themselves or had a shitty body shop do it
Strike 2.
So disappointing that you gave them the opportunity to fix it, and they still screwed things.
No loaner on this is shameful. I think VW of NA should pick up the cost. Good luck.
Wow this is ridiculous. Can't they just order a new bumper and cut their losses? Do they come painted from the factory on these cars?
I know how you feel though I had a terrible experience with a body shop for our mini Cooper. I had to take it back like three times for some major problems. They promise you the world and then when it's not perfect somehow they put the blame on you for being too nit picky.
Ask for a GTD bumper instead and chrome exhaust tips to boot sucks to hear about your situation TDI-MK6, hopefully this shite ends soon for you.
You're right about that, I took a quick look at some pics and there is no difference. Maybe you can get them for this bumper modification?
