Lmao I often do the same at work, but thanks man! I wish I had better chronicled my build here with details and pics but you get the idea haha. I still have a lot of plans for this thing, though

It's insane! Like driving a totally different car. It's faster and handles better and more responsively. I guess dropping ~40 lbs of unsprung weight will do that lol

Haven't had many updates on my car lately, mainly just routine maintenance and keeping it clean since it's running so smoothly. I picked up a daily/winter beater too, so it's been easy to keep the GTI parked and pristine (it's usually either garaged or kept under a fitted cover). Here's my new-to-me "turbobrick" for anyone who's interested (and btw, I do have a few plans for it):
