PM me for best pricing!

The MORR Spun Forged series uses a rotary forging process to create a wheel that is both strong and lightweight. Weights start at just 19 pounds, making this an attractive option for those who do not wish to pay a premium for a machined forged wheel. Features include:

- 1 piece monoblock construction
- Lightweight construction
- VIA/JWL approved
- Lifetime structural warranty
- Aftermarket big brake compatibility

Sizes available are:
- 18x8 ET45
- 18x8.5 ET35
- 18x9 ET45
- 19x8.5 ET35
- 19x8.5 ET45
- 19x9 ET30
- 19x9 ET40

Standard finishes are:
- Satin gunmetal
- Metallic silver
- Matte black

Do you have more info on the manufacturing process? Spun forged = formed rim?

These use a flow forming process, which differs slightly from a conventional forging in that the wheels are formed into shape using rollers under tremendous pressure. Due to the pressure applied, the process actually changes the mechanical properties of the wheel, making it much closer to a forged wheel. When compared to a cast wheel, a flow formed wheel will be stronger as well as lighter. For example, this MORR wheel will weigh just 20 pounds in a 19" diameter.

Whereas a flow formed wheel is essentially rolled into form, a forged wheel is pressed into shape from a solid piece of billet aluminum. Using tremendous pressure and heat, a blank is created that is then machined to final specifications. At the end of the day, both processes result in a very strong and light wheel.

Thanks

Very misleading title.

These are CAST wheels that are manufactured using a flow-formed process.

This is the manufacturers nomenclature, not our own. With that being said, the flow forming process does produce a very different material structure than a cast wheel, and thus it would not be accurate to call this a cast wheel.
