New Golf R

Traded in my 2011 GTI stage 2 on a 2013 RB 4dr Golf R. The GTI had DSG and because I do not have to drive in traffic I felt that I missed shifting. I had driven my buddies, so knew the differences in the overall handling and fell of the cars.

Very happy to be rowing gears again and starting a list of mods to be undertaken.

Still breaking in so can not address performance issues at this time.

Noted that your are currently in the process of Stage 2+. What besides the flash does that consist of (intake and downpipe) but what else?

Congats... love the color! Stage 2+ consists of a CAI, HPFP, Downpipe, a tune and of course LED Tails. :thumbsup:

I am almost there, just waiting on that darn downpipe!

The sticker price was $36,885. They wanted $14,242 less tax, license etc. for the car, with my trade in.

My trade was a 2011 Autobahn, with DSG and 21,000 miles.

That's pretty low value they gave you for an upgraded/fully loaded/low mileage GTI

its about 22k - its not that bad at all, really, for a trade-in. He also gets a tax savings here and only has to pay tax on the 14k, not the 36k. He did pretty well.
