"I'm in this race because I care about Americans," Romney said. "I'm not concerned about the very poor. We have a safety net there. If it needs repair, I'll fix it.

That was this morning on CNN with Soledad O'Brien.

Enlightening, yet unsurprising. Good to know we have this "safety net" he's referring to. I'd hate to imagine we'd ever let people go without food or shelter in our society.

Yeah, I was just on tour in Australia for a few weeks and saw just about every city on that continent. Spent a lot of time in Sydney, Melbourne etc. etc. and I didn't see one homeless person. Not one. You know what else they get there in Australia? Universal healthcare. People don't go bankrupt from getting sick. They aren't denied coverage for pre-existing conditions. Fucking commies.

Looks like we need to send Romney down under to set those pinkos straight and teach them how to live like Americans.

yeah, bunch of lazy good for nothing socialists.. that would never work here. what would the poor insurance companies do without record profits based solely on receiving massively inflated premiums from a vast majority that they can deny coverage to at will? What would they do??? and what of the poor doctors who couldn't continue to bill insurance companies $400+ p/hr for basic office visits? And the drugs.. What would poor Pfizer do? I really feel for all of those entities and wouldn't want anything to interrupt business as usual for them.

yeah? what venues?

not sure... its a little hazy, lol. Was back in 2005 and 2006, iirc. A lot of shows in Germany, some in Switzerland, Austria, and France and a few in the UK. Iceland was one of my favorite places - Germany also. Mostly clubs and what not, nothing too crazy for our underground thrash grind metal/punk band, lol.

Thats cool, we just did the summer Falls Festivals in Lorne Victoria, Tasmania & Southbound Fest in Busselton, as main support for Fleet Foxes and Arctic Monkeys. All 30k plus size shed and tent shows. Did some sideline club shows in Sydney and Melbourne as well and then all headline stuff in Japan. I only did one European tour before but it was all opening for Linkin Park so we just did fairgrounds every day to like 300000 disinterested Germans, waiting for LP to go on.
