Just purchased an MK6 DP with the auth code. Is there an expiration date to this code or am I good? Don't plan to install it anytime soon

Hey where did you find this? Anyone know where they're available? I just bought a mk6, brand new to all this, and I'm trying to move from apr stage 1 to stage 2.

Check out XLR8 performance. I believe that's how you spell it. Website will direct you to chem for the MK6 Downpipe. They had 1 left after I placed my order.

The APR Intake System lets your engine breathe! This closed design rejects power-robbing heat from the engine bay thanks to the high heat deflection material used in the intake's design. It provides an unrestrictive path for cold, dense air fed from outside of the engine bay to maximize power. We use a high flow filter that provides excellent filtration without the restrictions, which keeps the engine clean while optimizing power delivery. On the flow bench, we recorded a 31% increase in CFM over the factory airbox, and a 24% increase over the total system. This translates to a sharper throttle response, lessened strain on the turbocharger, and more horsepower and torque. The system is an excellent value. The APR Intake System is modular. It connects to the factory turbo inlet piping, and provides substantial gains. Those looking to complete the system can opt for the optional APR Turbo Inlet pipe to increase flow over the smaller factory turbo inlet piping. Our inlet pipe is a continuous massive pipe that connects to the turbocharger via a port-matching silicon coupler. The PCV system conveniently connects to the intake via a billet aluminum adapter. Lastly, the system uses a flex coupler that allows adequate engine movement and flex.

is there any info on this in comparison to the older models? I’m thinking of upgrading mostly for the looks but would be nice to know if it helped performance even if it’s 1% lol

Any insight into why the stock coil packs tend to fail after adding a tune if this is true?

Not saying you are lying but Im curious to know why the R8 red top coils hold up so much better over the stock ones, at least anecdotally.

Do your mk7 coil packs provide a greater energy output as well? My VW dealer sells your red tops, I was eyeing them up

Will there be any future updates to your K04 tune? I understand that there's a new CTS K04-X turbo that's gaining a lot of good press and I'd like to have an APR tune to match that turbo's power needs. Loving your Stage 1 ECU and your TCU tunes thus far!
