Is there some performance benefit I'm missing here (that's a lot of surface area removed from braking force) or is that just to give adjacent drivers vertigo?

@Thumper1 I'll be totally honest with you, I didn't do my homework when I ordered them.

Here's what I found online:

Quick photo I snapped not along ago at a local park.

Recently popped in new fog-light housings and the car looks brand new again from the outside. 120k of rock chips on those bad boys realllly added up
Tried restoring them while on the car and it was a pain in the ass, figured if they came out they may as well get replaced

I like your choice of wheels. It's not the usual 5-spoke wheel, would you mind telling me the make and model of it. I'm checking out the options on 4wheelonline and you just gave me an idea of what model to consider.
