the rings around the projector lenses were painted black

meaning, paint the whole housing black like a R20 golf R.
but leave the Hood over the projector and under part CW.

Yep, the lip had installed almost 1.5 years in the picture on the top, just holding it on with 3M tape

Found a set of oem 18" Interlagos powdercoated black for $220 picked up. Thoughts? I'm not a HUGE fan of black wheels, but I may plasti dip them gunmetal. Thoughts?

It's different :thumbup: I think it's growing on me. How did you go about it? Bake the housings to remove the lenses, remove the projectors, and shoot the insides white?

Something like that but these lights you can't bake the sealant is weird so you have to almost pry them apart

they appear to be ed's 10 LED headlights, not OEM

ed's headlights can be baked open.
