Dudes,
Just signed myself up to attend a one day (Saturday) event at Monticello Raceway on the 4.1 mile layout on April 24th. It's being run by a new company called Trackacardia (http://trackacardia.com/). They're gonna do 4, 25 minute sessions and if you sign up before March 15th it's $295. Seems like a good deal to me. I did a two day event last year at Monticello but it was only on the short course. I kinda told myself I wouldn't go back unless it was for the full course, and Voila here we go. We did a couple parade laps around the whole course when I was there and it's pretty damn sweet. I would HIGHLY recommend you consider it if you're within a reasonable driving distance. You'll never appreciate your MKVI more til' you get it on a track, and I assure you it's plenty capable. Anyway, just a heads up. If you do sign up tell em' StreetSpeed sent ya (they ask on the registration form).
