2012 GTI Manual with 41k miles. Spends a week at the dealer after failing to start (cold start). Dealer couldn't replicate the issue after having the car for a week and everything else checked out. Fast forward a month and the car won't start again in a parking lot (warm start) during my lunch break. Leave the car and comeback later hoping to pop start it as it sounded like a bad starter or battery. Come back with a friend who suggests we try and jump it, the car fires right up. I drive straight to autozone to have the battery and alternator checked. Both passed with flying colors.
Obviously I can't have a car that just randomly won't start. Who's going to solve this one? Also before anyone suggests, the car is going back to the dealer tomorrow. Hopefully it starts in the morning.
