Taping high level signal from back door?

Hi,

Does anyone have any good ideas on how to splice the stock wiring for the rear speakers (4 door) in order to hook up an amp with high level inputs?

Do I need to connect to both left and right channel (both sides of the car) if I am just after the base?

Do I need to remove the door cards or can I connect somewhere in the wire harness in the car?

I need som help here thanks :).

Ready to race!
It would definitely be easier to do it from the deck. It will be longer to run wire, but it's an easier option.

From the back of the head unit you mean? I guess it's pretty straight forward identifying the correct wires? My old RCD 300 unit in the MKV came with schematics attached ..

What kind of cable is good to use? Go all out with individual shielded twisted pairs with an additional extra shield? It would suck to pick upp disturbances along the way. Then again, it's just 15-180HZ I need .. not much noise there except alternator noise.
