I have formula silver volk re30s with polished lips going on soon. I have a black GTI lowered on Konis.

For lug nut colors I have red, blue and neo chrome. I don't want silver because the wheel already has a lot of silver, black is too boring.

My opinions:

Red matches the caps and the stock brakes but it might be too much red?

I've always loved blue lugs but they might look off.

Neo chrome is more expensive but looks really awesome.

What do you guys think?

So you did the stud conversion?

If not check Mevius lug bolts. They come in black, neo chrome and blue neo chrome

I'm not a fan of red and red caps. Too matchy matchy.

I voted neochrome but change it to blue. Neochrome to me is something you just put on a slammed car or stanced car or whatever. But I feel like blue would work beautifully because it's not too funky and not too boring.

I got the Mevius bolts in blue for my gray TR Motorsport wheels. Look pretty sweet.

Almost. Will be ordering studs soon and now I'm just saving up for tires and lugs.

If only they made a blue neo chrome lug nut :D

Is the stud conversion fairly safe?

Absolutely. It makes it easier to put on wheels and you don't have any uncertainty on whether or not your lug bolts have enough contact on the hub.
