What do I need to know before I install deAutokey interior LED's on my mk6

As I understand, I should be sure to turn off all the lights as to avoid blowing any fuses? How can I do this for the footwell/trunk/glovebox lights?

Any other tips appreciated, this is my first time doing any type of "work" on my car and will be installing the interior LED's along with front turn signal LED's.

I just did mine last night. Didn't turn any of the lights off and had no problems. Only thing you'll need is a T20 torx screwdriver for the front dome lights. Real easy install and they look great!

If you want them off disconnect the battery. Then do it. I installed them while they were on and let them cool down a little before changing the bulbs and reinstalled them. Didn't blow a fuse. If you are scared of the heat... wear some gloves.

Following the video tutorial made install pretty straight forward. These LED lights are awesome and deautokey was great to deal with.
