2011 GTI vs 2000 BMW 328i

Granted, an A4 2.0t is slightly more torque than our 2.0 (I'm guessing ECU programming?), but it's also heavier by far than our GTI, so here's my experience.

A new A4 2.0 (automatic, quattro) is faster than a new 328 xi, no questions asked. Not a lot, but certainly quicker. The FWD would hurt you off the line, but no way would that be hard to make up...

A 1999 328 would be an e46.

This isnt even a topic worth discussing. you would tear him a new asshole. 195HP plus beamers are on the heavy side so ide say he weighs about 3,500lbs and you weigh about 3,100 plus you have more power, more torque and you have a turbo kick in at 2,800 RPM. even if he had a stage one tune, you would kick his ass. because Tunes for a Naturally aspirated car only gains 20 hp TOPS if that, but speed to weight ratio, you would put car lengths on him.
now if it was a 335i then thats a different story lol
