Finally got around to changing out the knob and boot. I absolutely love that Raceseng knob. Weighs a ton. It was surprisingly heavy. Even though it sits lower, I still want to cut the shaft a little bit. The boot was a pain, took forever and it's still not perfect, but it'll do for now.

I love the look and feel of the shortened shifter shaft. Wasn't even that hard to cut through.

Also ditched the eBay boot and got an OSIR one. Much better quality and it's the perfect size.

I'm loving the feel of the shifter now. The height is perfect for me. Such a huge difference from the stock set up. All that's missing now is installing the new bracket and bushings. Should be perfect after that!
