This thread makes me wonder if there are springs that drop the car .5in

Front mud flaps scrape when going over almost all speed bumps. I take it slow and haven't had a problem. They don't look torn up. If I was any lower I would remove them.

Rear flaps never scrape.

Turns out they did settle out a bit. The passenger side front is about half a finger lower than the driver side front and I think it's because the passenger side spring is upside down.. oops.

Either way I still may consider trimming the rear perches, unless there is an oem equivalent that's thinner?

other than maybe fixing that upside down spring that seems unnecessary ha

The OEM MK7 spring pad is the thinnest OEM one available

It's the same fitment but ~6mm and a softer rubber than the OEM one you have right now (which is ~8mm)
