In the Subie's defense, the 2008 is a POS compared to the 2009, where they up'd the HP to 265 and stiffened the chassis and suspension. Current WRX will give a GTI a run for its money.
Yep, and definitely beat it in a straight line. Of course, it's not as nice inside, ride is harsher, and it's nowhere near as comfortable for cruising. The GTI is more of a tourer than the WRX.
The leather does not give you power seats. You get a power recline... that's it. Up, Down, Forward, Back and lumbar are all manual... leather OR cloth. If you don't need the moonroof, you'd save $2000.
