Logs.. Random misfires?

9V7W3

Ready to race!
Hey guys.. Never ran a scan of my car before so had a friend do it tonight. I noticed my car has been idling rough for a while now but never gave it much thought, attributed it to APR runner flap delete and cold start, but codes revealed a little more. I'm at 85K, stage 2+, and before you ask just installed new plugs and R8 coil packs. This scan was done with the car warm after driving at idle, 20 degrees outside. Could it be MAF? Any opinions?

The Fixer
Did you gap the new plugs?

Did you gap the new plugs?

I didn't install them but I'm assuming my shop did.. It's a VW/Audi specific shop and they're all ex audi mechanics.

The idle and cold start has felt funky ever since the RFD which was last May, just never looked at the logs and doesn't throw any lights on the dash. Just went in for an oil change and haldex service a few days ago and they told me I also had a code which they cleared for intermittent cam shaft not able to reach position or something..

could be plugs, I'd pull, re-gap, and re-install
could be a boost leak
I guess you've ruled out coils?
could be cam (have you inspected the lobe that you can see?)
I would not think it would be fuel related

Hm well the coils are brand new and had R8 coils before that.. Also the odds of 3 out of 4 new coils being bad are slim. I though boost leak too because I can't seem to reach higher than 25PSI lately but i haven't had it pressure tested. Could it just be from the cold starts and RFD? I don't know if I'm reading it correctly but it looks like all the misfires only happened once in each cylinder and the car was running for an hour after that and it didn't happen again since it says only 1 time on each. Is that normal though even only once?

My camshaft is also pretty new, was replaced along with the fuel pump about 40K ago when my follower exploded. I also had a carbon cleaning done 30K ago which is when I installed the RFD Kit.

I don't have the flapper del...but based on what I read about it, I'd say there's a good chance it is from cold weather and RFD.

That could be, since cars with RFD are supposed to stumble around when cold, but then once warmed up are supposed to idle better. Why don't you call APR? They could prob give insight as to whether that is normal for RFD R's or not.
