2.5L Turbo build by Thygreyt

just wanted to say hello to you all.

while i dont own a mk6, i have a mkv 2.5L.
the mk6 2.5L has changed much, so what i know still applies.

new on this forum... but a long time member on a whole bunch of others such as:

my car is a jetta mkv, with a GTI transmission (first guy to have done a automatic to 6 speed manual, and only one of the 2 6spd manuals in the world)

its a PTE5858 and SPA manifold. (at 10 psi it will make +300whp)

hey i used to follow your thread on vortex way back when i had my mkv....I still miss that haha

I had some parts to start an awd 6 speed swap before I traded in on my mk6...still wonder about what could have been haha

more pics of engine bay please, and I want that valve cover... but on my Golf Mk6 2.5, there is this weird thing by the oil cap that is not there on the polished valve covers...

What are you talking?? Post up a pic and ill try to explain why it isn't there on the other valve covers.

LSD installed.
not going to make a review yet, i'm still doing the brake in.. lol.

shortly: i love it.

the oem open differential installed on the final drive gear


we are just starting to play with the oem diff


a shadowed oem differential.. its sad, its going out.


cutting the face of the OEM rivets. Then we chiseled them out.
