Ready to race!
Finally finished installing my front parking sensors.
Sensors were mounted couple of months ago, but, I was waiting for my shipment to arrive to finish the wiring.
- Parking sensors: $20 (Had to be painted)
- Front Parking Sensors Switch: $20
- Park Assist Button: $15 (Is not necessary for parking sensors only)
- Wiring and Connector: $4
- Push to Switch Relay Module: $5
Front Bumper Off:
Parking sensors location was already marked on the bumper:
Drill bit came with the sensors:
Cover the area with painter's tape to protect the paint:
Just to be safe I put some silicon glue around the sensor holders:
Wires sorted out:
Took a while to find somewhere to channel the wires:
There is a plastic plug between the door and the body, after the plug was back in, I put some silicon over the plastic cover to prevent any water that might get in:
Control Unit:
You can use the lighter plug to get power for control unit and to illuminate the switches:
*UPDATE*
Cheers,
Arash
