Look at the various threads for examples of your color with side markers. i bought my dark smoked markers from Euro parts this past Xmas, high quality, build is equal to OEM, and they cost 28 dollars, this included shipping.
You could paint them, very easy to pop in and out etc. check local vw body shops they have the paint and if you can wait let you know when they are spraying something. i can't see paying anymore than about 35 dollars max to get them done. they might do it for that anyway.
