I'm missing the bolt for that so I haven't been using it since I installed mine. Probably not idea but I haven't noticed any issues from it.

I think it’s between 2.75-3” that it tapers down to. I had the relocation kit and never had issues with their upper intake pipe. You should be ok.

I added on an IE stage 2 pipe to by BSH front section intake. I purchased a generic tapered silicone coupler from ebay. 2.5" to 3" was a perfect fit. The OEM IHI turbo inlet is only about 2.5" in diameter.

If you still have your order number/receipt they should replace it for you free of charge. The revised bracket is much beefier.

Ah well, for me, I noticed a vibration in my brake pads and clutch whenever I accelerated. Also the vibration caused one of the clamps to slip off, though that could've been me not tightening the clamp down enough.
