anyone figure out how to remove the licsense bulbs?

I can remove the light box, disconnect it from the wiring, but I have no clue on how to get the lense out to install the w5w it uses.

can anyone chime in?

The socket the bulbs fits in simply twists out to release... it's really simple.

Hey Super Steve, if you get to changing it to LED's and don't have any error codes after... can you tell us where you got them? I'm looking to getting mine changed to white LED's as well.

Also pix would be greatly appreciated = )

I ordered some blue bulbs (not LED) online. I will post pictures when i have them installed.

I ordered LEDs that are supposed to work. They should be here tomorrow and I'll let you know if they don't throw a code.

i've tried all different types of LEDs in the plates but they throw a warning.

i did the parking lights and the footwell lights without problems tho..

I used halogen bulbs that are white.
