I've been looking into a build my own brake upgrade and noticed that the mk2 TTS rear caliper is the same as the Golf R/Passat with the exception of the bracket/carrier (and of course the electric parking brake on the passat). The rotors are all 310mm and vented, but the TTS rotor has a deeper hat. The rear hubs/spindles seem to be the same from passat to TTS (aluminum).
What I'm asking is if I can use the TTS caliper on my 2010 GTI? If I use the TTS brackets will I need the TTS rotor as well? (I'm assuming I would as long as it bolts up). Or is something different enough that it just won't work?
Thanks all.
