Sitting at work googling the shit out of lupus. My wife got a notification from the lab on Friday afternoon. Of course, her Dr. wasn't in to talk to her about a course of action......or to keep her from stressing out about a possible change in her quality of life. This definitely explains her lack of energy and frequent illnesses over the past several years.

On to positive things......I smoked some KC strips and chicken breasts last night and my wife actually tried both and said it was the best meat she had ever put in her mouth. The words were already out of her mouth when she realized that two of our kids and one of their friends was standing right behind her. I haven't seen my wife blush that much in a long time. We all had a good laugh at that one. My 14-year-old son and I were definitely laughing a bit harder than everyone else, due to being close to the same mental maturity level.
