and they moved the location for the Femmes from down the street to a pita (for me) location. looking into a refund.

edit: they said no-problem to a refund. new location is 45 minutes w/o any traffic and there is rarely no traffic in that direction. I Love the Femmes but I'm not a fan of the new venue (crowded/a fair number of seats that are way off to the side) and I have some anxiety in crowds.

With that storm headed towards me it's showing 82 degrees as our high for sunday. It's going to get dirty right away, but I'm not gonna see a day that cool until the end of october at the earliest.

I saw some people saying good things about meguiars ultimate wash and wax, so I'm gonna pick up a bottle of that tonight and try it out.

My water is way too hard for that. I've been doing ONR washes during the summer so I only have to worry about 1 panel at a time.

I love it when it rains while I'm at work. As long as the roads are dry by the time I have to leave it'll clean it pretty good, but if I have to drive behind people kicking up dirty water with their tires...fuck...

We live about 45-60 minutes from four different lakes, and my dad is offering to sell me his boat for a good price. So, my wife and I are going to spend Sunday visiting different marinas to see where we want to store it.

Nope, no glue on this one. Newer-ish Samsung installed in 2017. Just watched YouTube University on switching out the PCB and it's very simple, you just need access to the back. I'm hoping my short arms are long enough to reach the valve if it's behind the oven and near the floor. I'm really hoping it is adjacent in one of the cabinets. Probably something I should know just to know haha.

some keys to car wash soap:

the PH should be neutral or slightly alkaline
high lubricity is good. high foam helps encapsulate dirt.
also look into a pre-wash soap that is literally meant to break down traffic film. really this is for if you have a foam cannon.
soaps that contain additives like ceramic etc are kind of gimmicky but real talk aren't bad either.

if you're gonna pick up soap though, i think most oreillies, autozone etc carry chemical guys now which is generally superior IMO.
