Do new wheels need to be aligned?

I bought some new rims a couple of days ago, they're coming in soon.

I have a 2012 golf 2.5L, stock suspension and brakes, do I still need to get my new wheels aligned? If so how much would they charge?

I'm going to swap the tires that I have on with the rims coming in soon.

Only when replacing suspension components or changing ride height really. You are supposed to get one every few years or so many miles to compensate for the parts wearing out but unless you have drivability issues I wouldn’t worry.
