I used to be a swing voter, 20 years ago. I voted for GW when he campaigned like a moderate.

Since then, the GOP have gone completely off the rails, culminating with a lifelong New York con man and grifter hijacking the party. It would take a major transformation for me to ever vote for another republican. The democratic party now holds the space for moderates and progressives. The GOP would have to become a moderate party and the democrats to move farther right of Sanders to get me to vote Republican again in this lifetime.

Find obvious differences like race, language, religion, dietary habits
Fashion. Emphasize that their soldiers are not doing a job
They are heartless murderers who enjoy killing!

Third step: Once these differences are established continue to reinforce them with all disseminated information

The good guy is generally decided by the victor. Medical history progressed greatly during the last world war, but we don't usually go around praising Japanese Military Unity 731 or the Doctors of the Third Reich of the time.

You should, it's important. He was incredibly popular and influential. Things only turned ugly after he convinced his citizens he was the only source for truth and salvation. The other people in this thread aren't just using hyperbole when comparing Trump to him, the parallels are frightening. Educate yourself and you may reconsider your past support for him.
