I completely understood what happened in that video. The tuned and bolted Golf R got the slight jump on the tuned e39 M5 but got reeled in by massive German v8 powaah eventually. I think(being a guy that has driven well over 1k miles in an e39 m5) that my top end is quite a bit better than the golf R and could pull an e39 m5 from a roll every day :)
