GTI Wolfsburg BASE Audio Upgrade

My GTI came with stock speakers. Any ideas to improve sound other than adding a sub-woofer?

Change out the components and the tweeters. You could add an amp as well, that's going to be a definite improvement over stock

I have the 2013 of the same setup and was planning on having to do components and a sub. I've added a sub based on a DIY thread and I'm thinking it's pretty solid setup now.

^^ Dude above is exactly correct on what would be the next steps unless you plan on replacing the headunit and dropping at least 1k for a good looking replacement :thumbdown: then you could skip the amp most likely.
