How to change puddle light bulbs?

Hi, I got a puddle light bulb out and can't figure out how to get the unit out. Had the mirror glass off and the motor out and the wing mirror back casing off but couldn't get it out. Didn't want to force the unit out just in case I broke it. Any ideas how to get it out ?

Assuming you're taking about the one on the bottom of the door, you can probably use your hand or a trim tool.
Insert in the top edge of the light unit on the door card and pry out. It just has two spring clips on top and plastic teeth on the bottom (which you don't want to break.) you almost have to pivot the unit down. Unhook the harness at the back. the light unit comes apart too as it has tiny plastic teeth. Just have to pry the shell a little to have it release. No tools required for that. Just attention to detail.
