I'm not sure if this would mount properly since it came of the R which is an FSI and the GTI is TSI but does anybody else have thoughts on this?

There was a very good thread about this a while ago with a lot of info. It is a simple conversion, block the PCV inlet on the housing, source a DV relocation kit and cut the OEM outlet and weld one that suits the TSI engine.

I just missed out on a brand new one on craigs list for 600. i mwondering if this a good deal and its worth it for the one I listed.

oh I think I remember seeing that one for sale on the gce classifieds too.
