Up for sale is a fully functioning Passport Escort 8500 radar detector. It will ship in the original hard leather wrapped case. Has 12v outlet with indicator lights and mute button. Traditional suction cup bracket mount. I believe i have the original manual too (will check). Unit is in very good shape.

Asking $200 obo - paypal gift payment.

If asking price is paid, I will include shipping to the lower 48 w/ tracking.

UPDATE - Just went and picked the unit up from my mom's house and realized the 12v cigarette outlet is MIA. :mad0259:

New ones are available on the web, either with the plug or hardwire solutions for cheap.


NEW PRICE DUE TO MISSING 12v adapter.

Don't want to steal your thread, but I have a directwire smartcord (the one on the right side on the link you posted) that I gave up on selling a while ago.

For anyone interested in 2010_Jersey_GTi's radar detector, get the hardwire smartcord from me for $15 shipped. The only reason I stopped using it is because I now have my radar detector integrated with my ZR3 laser shifters.

If you don't want this posted here, feel free to have it removed.

Is it the direct wire cord? Or the normal coiled cable? I'll buy right now if its direct wire hardwire cord!

Not a bad deal for someone. Escort is offering a $80 trade in credit for that unit, when a new detector is purchased from them. I have had two of them and they work great. Good luck with the sale.
