Just got stage 1 done on my GTI at cable VW in OKC. Jerry Skinner, service manager was super cool and had some quality service. He told me it was the first DSG they do and the third car they tune since they have been doing this for only two weeks.
Went for a drive with Skinner and he said the DSG is amazingly good because it minimize the wheel spin, unlike the two manuals he did.
My impression, the car feels AMAZING already and I can feel the difference, it's like the car has an attitude now and wants to pull more and more, engine feels and sounds better, car is much responsive, DSG farts louder, for some reason steering wheel feels heavier. I am pleased with stage 1, for now. Overall, I recommend this mod by all means. I am also waiting on my APR air intake to arrive.
